Luke 5:17-26
Jesus forgives sin and heals the sick, but some do not understand. It doesn't fit any of their ideas about who God is and what he does. Could God be at work in our world in ways we don't fully understand? Jesus invites us to slow down, consider what is in our heart, and prayerfully discern how we can be aligned with the ways of God in the world. The friends who bring the paralytic don’t know a lot about God, but they know to do whatever it takes to bring their friend to Jesus.
