It's obvious the world is not the way that it's supposed to be, but praying and living this prayer calls us to a renewed imagination. Instead of throwing up our hands in despair and saying, "What's the world coming to?", we boldly declare, "Look, who is coming into the world!" Prayer teaches us patience in the "not yet" of God's promises and gives us clarity as to how we can join Him in the Already!
