From Wander to Wonder

Exodus 3:1-14
The life of Moses takes an unexpected turn when he runs from his past to the wilderness of Midian (Ex. 2). He seems content to wander with sheep for the rest of his life, but God invites him to wonder, revealing his divine name and the mission he has for Moses. God meets us in our wandering and reveals who he is and what he has called us to do. Our calling will always be a journey into the unknown (Moses' questions in Ex. 3:15-4:17), but we move forward not as those who wander with no purpose but as those who wonder in God's majesty, wanting to discover more and more of God!
